The Impact of Personality Types on Students’ Speaking Ability : A Quasi-Experimental Study

Personality can be one of the internal factors that have an impact on students’ ability in language learning. The present study investigated personality types their writing English. There are two personalities studied: Extrovert and Introvert. research is quasi-experiment. Students at grade XI SMAN 6 Kerinci engage study, whereas only classes selected as samples (experimental class control class). were given a questionnaire to recognize types. Then, speaking test carries out each order know student's writing. data analysed by using t-test. finding hypotheses testing proves value t-observed 19.43 which higher than t-table 4.301, so H0 rejected H1 accepted. Hence, there significant ability. with extrovert better students introvert personality.
